I’m an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because I have opted out of Medicare, Medicare will not reimburse you for my services.

I believe good psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person, not just a diagnosis or list of symptoms.
My approach combines thoughtful medication management with attention to important foundations of well-being, including sleep, nutrition, physical activity, social connection, and a sense of purpose and meaning. I also consider stress, relationships, nervous system regulation, and life experiences, and may incorporate evidence-informed supplements and other nonpharmacologic approaches when appropriate.
Care is collaborative and individualized. I want you to feel heard, understand the reasoning behind your treatment options, and take an active role in decisions about your care.

If you're not sure yet whether we're a good fit, we can start with a free 20-minute Introductory Consultation. This is a low-pressure opportunity to talk through what you're looking for and ask questions.
When you're ready for a full visit, the Initial Psychiatric Evaluation is a 90-minute session where we'll explore what brings you in, your history, current concerns, strengths, values, lifestyle, and goals from a whole-person perspective.
By the end of the visit, my goal is for you to feel heard, have a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms, and leave with a collaborative, personalized plan for moving forward.

Yes. My appointments are more than medication check-ins. They include space to explore what's happening in your life, better understand patterns, build on your strengths, and think together about meaningful next steps.
While I incorporate therapeutic work into every visit, psychotherapy is its own discipline. Many people benefit from working with a therapist who can meet more frequently and provide deeper work using specialized therapeutic approaches. When that's the right fit, I enjoy collaborating with therapists so we're working together toward the same goals.

I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments. While most visits take place by secure video, I also enjoy meeting with patients in person when it's the right fit.
My office is located in Decatur, Georgia. Telehealth appointments are available for patients who are physically located in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Missouri, where I am licensed to practice medicine.

The frequency and length of appointments depend on your needs and where you are in treatment.
Initial psychiatric evaluations are 90 minutes. Follow-up visits are typically 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your concerns and the level of support that's needed.
Most people are seen every one to three months, though we may meet more or less frequently depending on your situation and treatment plan.
